Originally from Cameroon, Bona remains true to his roots, with African rhythms reflected in each of his seven albums; the first three, Scenes from My Life, Reverence and Munia display his unique approach to storytelling through sounds. Originario de Camerún, Bona se mantiene fiel a sus raíces, con ritmos africanos reflejados en cada uno de sus siete discos; los tres primeros, Scenes from My Life, Reverence y Munia, muestran su enfoque único para contar historias a través de los sonidos. Originaire du Cameroun, Bona reste fidèle à ses racines, avec des rythmes africains reflétés dans chacun de ses sept albums ; les trois premiers, Scenes from My Life, Reverence et Munia révèlent son approche unique de la narration à travers les sons.
Seeking inspiration from his origins, the themes of Bona’s albums address international issues which mirror his desire of using music to take a stance on issues affecting the oppressed. Bona busca (Bona seeks) inspiración en sus orígenes, abordando asuntos internacionales que reflejan su deseo de utilizar la música para tomar una postura sobre asuntos que afectan a los oprimidos.
